A really Quirky cottage in a lovely part of north Devon. The accommodation ranged over 3 floors and yes the spiral staircase was a challenge initially but I see there was no other way to utilise those floors. The kitchen was very well kitted out.
Coachman's Quarter is a charming one bedroom coastal apartment set in a unique location in the pretty hillside village of Lynton in North Devon. This dog friendly self-catering property comfortably sleeps 2 in one bedrooms, and boasts a wonderful private terrace, just a few steps from the front door, with stunning sea views over Lynmouth, towards Countisbury over the Bristol Channel.
Situated to the rear of the Lynton Cottage Seaview Apartments complex, Coachman's Quarters offers a fantastic base for couples and their dog to enjoy a great walking holiday and opportunity to explore Exmoor National Park, the Valley of the Rocks, National Trust Watersmeet, as well as the North Devon coastline.
From it's own private entrance, you enter Coachman's Quarters into a bright and spacious living room that oozes plenty of character and charm with a high vaulted and beamed ceiling and features plenty of comfy seating, a wall-mounted smart TV and an electric wood-burner. This room is actually situated on the top floor (second floor) of the apartment, a flight of stairs then leads down to the first floor, where you'll find a bedroom with a king-sized bed and a bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
The kitchen is on the ground floor and is accessed either via a spiral staircase from the first floor, or from outside. It is well-equipped with everything needed for a self-catering holiday and appliances includes an electric oven with hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. There is also a dining area for two, as well access to a ground floor cloakroom, and a space for hanging coats and storing boots.
However, the real highlight for guests staying at Coachman's Quarters must be the private terrace, accessed from the living room or the entrance gate. Guests are invited to relax and dine whilst enjoying the truly spectacular coastal views over the ocean.
One dog is welcome at Coachman's Quarters. Please read the house rules.
Please note: that Coachman’s Quarters may not be suitable for everyone due to its limited accessibility both inside and out. It is with regret that this property is not suitable for guests holidaying with infants due to the staircases and accessibility concerns.

Off road parking for 1 car. Dog friendly (one dog welcome, additional charges). Usual changeover day is Saturday. Short breaks considered outside of the school holidays and summer season.
