We were delighted to discover that our cottage "Glenuaig Lodge" is featured in an article this week by The Telegraph "11 of Britain's most remote holiday cottages".
Only accessible via a 4x4 with high clearance, Glenuaig Lodge on the Glencarron Estate in the Scottish Highlands enjoys a wonderful remote mountainous location, surrounded by beautiful wildlife and stunning views. Located down a country track, it is hidden away from the other lodges that share the 12,000 acre estate. This four-bedroom that was once used by Victorian gentlemen and their servants, when stalking deer on the remote hills has now been fully renovated to offer high quality self catering accommodation for the ultimate "get away from it all" break.
Glenuaig Lodge has its own hydro-electricity system to guarantee it is always warm and cosy for its guests. It also boasts a traditional drawing room, a dining room with exceptional views, separate drying room, a well-equipped kitchen, plus four bedrooms which share two bathrooms. Guests are welcome to enjoy walking, fishing and stalking on the Glencarron estate (additional costs may apply). It is a wonderful choice for groups of friends and families all year round looking for a holiday to remember in a truly unique remote setting.
