Corffe House

Corffe House is an impressive, 18th Century Georgian house located in the stunning North Devon countryside. The nine bedroom house is the perfect luxury escape for the whole family to enjoy a peaceful holiday with plenty of amenities to entertain the kids, including a swimming pool, a play area and a football pitch. 

The high ceilings and spacious rooms throughout the house, which is set over three floors, makes for a relaxing and comfortable staycation. The idyllic setting and fantastic facilities guarantee each day spent at Corffe House will create memories that last a lifetime.

The entrance of Corffe House opens into a grand foyer with a wooden staircase leading to the first floor where five bedrooms can be found. A further four bedrooms can be found on the second floor. 

The ground floor of Corffe House has ample reception rooms, perfect for entertaining the family. In the main living room, which has a wonderful fireplace, guests can relax in one of the three comfortable sofas, as well as an armchair. There is also a grand dining table capable of seating up to 22 people. The cosy snug provides a peaceful escape, perfect for reading your book or enjoying a hot cup of coffee after a long walk. The kitchen combines modern appliances with the house’s wonderful Georgian character features. Aside from the kitchen table, guests can also meet around the kitchen island whilst telling stories of the perfect day on holiday in North Devon. Featured appliances within the kitchen include a large aga, a Rangemaster, two dishwashers, three fridges and a freezer, all of which make enjoying a holiday at Corffe house simple and easy. 

Up the stairs beyond the kitchen is the games room, where you will find a pool table and “projector” cinema room. Relax and unwind on the multiple sofas as you enjoy your favourite cinematic masterpieces on the 3.5m screen, or play one of your favourite games on the PS5.

On the first floor of Corffe House, there are three good sized double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a bunk room, which is a favourite for our youngest guests. Each of the double bedrooms benefits from its own en-suite bathroom adding a touch of luxury to your holiday at Corffe House. The second floor hosts a further three super-king size double bedrooms, all of which have en-suite bathrooms. Finally, there is a twin bedroom that depending on your group or family's requirements can be made as either two single beds or a super king double.

The swimming pool can be found in the courtyard; at its deepest the pool is 2m deep and can be booked for your group's personal use. Also on site is a kids play area and a fenced, grassed field with football goals. Tennis balls and racquets are available to use, however, due to their slippery services in the winter months,  the tennis courts are best used in warmer weather.
