Springfield Linney is a beautiful place to stay, so beautiful this was our second time! Quiet, peaceful and lovely views! Whilst the weather was windy and rainy it didn’t ruin the stay! Clean and tidy throughout! Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay!
Springfield Linney is a stylish two bedroom barn conversion with its own private hot tub situated in a stunning countryside setting, just a few miles from Barnstaple in Devon.
Recently renovated and furnished to a high standard, this modern and contemporary holiday home has been thoughtfully designed to take full advantage of its wonderful rural location and its expansive views across the fields towards the estuary and sea. These breathtaking views actually stretch from Crow Point to Hartland!
Inside the cottage, a light spacious ‘L-shaped’ open plan living space effortlessly combines original features such as a high vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and stone walls with contemporary high quality furnishings. The lounge has a large sofa, armchair, wood-burning stove and a Smart TV. Stunning countryside views can be admired from the huge bi-fold doors that open out onto the terrace, and hot tub.
From the lounge area, a few stairs lead up to the first bedroom. This double bedroom features a double bed and an ensuite shower room.
The stunning views and terrace can also be admired from the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped and finished to a high standard. Appliances include an electric oven with hob, integrated fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, cafetière and an air fryer. For dining, there is a small square table that seats up to 4 guests, and that can be extended.
There are a few steps leading down to the family bathroom and the second bedroom. The family bathroom includes a bath with shower overhead, a wash basin and WC. The second bedroom has handy zip and link beds, so it can either be made up as a twin (with two 2 ft 6’ beds) or a double bed. This room also benefits from stunning countryside views, and has access to the terrace and garden..
A huge highlight for the cottage is the private hot tub and the garden. The hot tub provides a fantastic opportunity to relax after days exploring whilst enjoying the surrounding views. The fully enclosed garden has a main terrace, with outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ, plus a lawned area.
There is also off road parking. One dog is welcome at Springfield Linney.
