We couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more at The Shepherd’s Shed. The booking process was really simple and the hosts were really lovely. The Shepherd’s shes itself was immaculate and it has everything you need - it’s been done perfectly. The hot tub was the highlight - we ended up using it far more than we planned to because it was so nice. Another bonus - the shower had hot water!

Set on a small complex of 4 self-catering cottages at Accot Manor, The Shepherd's Shed is the perfect couples retreat for those looking for a relaxing break, whilst hoping to explore the very best of North Devon and nearby Exmoor National Park.
Inside, this unique shed simply oozes character and charm throughout. With an open plan living space, there is a compact kitchen area fitted with a small cooker with hob, fridge (with freezer compartment), toaster and sink. A wood-burning stove provides the heating, and an excellent place to boil the kettle. A breakfast bar with two stools has been thoughtfully provided as a lovely spot to grab a quick cuppa or snack. Then, at the rear of the shed, there is a double bed, along with a wall-mounted TV.
Outside, there is a separate bathroom with a shower, wash basin and WC. Then, behind the shed, you'll find a separate covered sink, a gas BBQ, an outside seating area covered by an awning, making it a wonderful place to prepare and dine outside surrounded by stunning countryside scenery. But the real highlight for guests staying at The Shepherd's Shed is the wood-fired hot tub, that guests have exclusive use. Simply, relax and de-stress whilst soaking up the sun and spectacular views, beautiful sunsets and sun rises, as well as starlit skies.

The Shepherd's Shed is located at Accott Manor, a small group of self-catering properties, situated near the small hamlet of Gunn, just a short drive away from the villages of Brayford, Landkey and Goodleigh in North Devon.
With far reaching views over the fields and valleys, you can really get away from it all in this quiet rural location, yet still benefit of having local amenities such as a village pub, convenience store, tea room all just a short drive away in the neighbouring villages.
A day out at the coast can easily be reached at Woolacombe, Croyde, Westward Ho!, or Instow to name a few of the popular resorts. Just a 10 minute drive away is the area's large town, Barnstaple where you'll find an array of supermarkets, bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants, independent and chain stores, as well as a cinema, theatre, bowling alley and roller skating arena.
For walkers, you'll find miles and miles of footpaths along the Tarka Trail, South West Coast and nearby Exmoor National Park.
