This charming newly renovated character property is the perfect countryside retreat for couples. It enjoys far reaching countryside views, with its own private terrace and own tub. A real added luxury after long days roaming and exploring the local area and beyond.
Inside the cottage, all the accommodation is set on one level. A spacious and charming open plan living space features a lounge area complete with large sofa, armchair, a wood-burning stove and a Smart TV. Large patio doors open out onto the terrace, where you'll discover views of unspoilt countryside as well as the hot tub. Outdoor seating and a gas BBQ have also been provided. The dining area includes a round table with seating for two, whilst the kitchen area has everything needed for a self-catering break. Appliances include an electric oven with hob, microwave and dishwasher.
The master bedroom is beautifully presented, with a king sized bed and a small walk-in wardrobe. There is also an en-suite shower room, with a large walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.
The Hen House is a wonderful option for couples looking for a quiet rural location, but with plenty to do and see right on the doorstep. The accommodation for The Hen House is ideally set all on one level, with no steps to enter the property either. With the added benefit of a large walk-in shower too, this property would be suitable for guests with mobility concerns.

This quiet and tranquil hamlet location benefits from far reaching views over fields and valleys, whilst local amenities such as a post office, a convenience store, village pub and a tea room in the nearby village of Landkey.
The larger town of Barnstaple boasting an array of supermarkets, independent and chain stores, bars, cafes, tearooms, a theatre, a cinema, a bowling alley and a good choice of restaurants is also less than a 10 minute drive away. Beach days can be enjoyed at Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton and Westward Ho!. For keen walkers, Exmoor National Park offering miles and miles of unspoilt beauty is within easy reach too, as well as the South West Coast Path.
