Situated on the North Cornish coast in the pretty village of Crantock, Talland Croft offers fabulous family friendly accommodation for those looking for a beach holiday, but don’t fancy the crowds in Newquay. Spacious throughout, it offers ample space for large groups of friends and families wishing to holiday together in this wonderful part of Cornwall.
Talland Croft is a five bedroom detached property, comfortably sleeps 10 guests and boasts spacious living spaces. A bright spacious living room with plenty of large comfortable sofas, a wood-burning stove, a wall-mounted TV, a DVD player and music system provides the perfect place to gather everyone together after enjoyable days out to the beach. Towards the rear of this room, there is a formal dining area for family suppers and access to the garden.
A well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room along with a separate utility room has everything guests could need for a relaxing self-catering holiday. The kitchen itself has a large range cooker, a dishwasher and a large table, ideal for leisurely breakfasts or grabbing a quick cuppa. The utility room has its own sink, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave and leads to a ground floor cloakroom, with a wash basin and WC.
There is also one ground floor double bedroom which overlooks the front garden and features a king-sized bed and plenty of storage.
On the first floor, there are a further four well-presented bedrooms. These include a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom, and then the fourth bedroom and the master bedroom both have handy zip and link beds that can be made up either as super king bed or as two singles. The master bedroom also benefits from its only en-suite shower room and lovely garden views. There is also a family bathroom with a bath (and hand-held shower attachment), wash basin and WC.
Talland Croft has its own enclosed garden with a summer house, BBQ, a chimenea and plenty of outdoor seating - an ideal place for children to play safely and everyone to relax outside. It also welcomes up to 2 dogs.

The charming North Cornish village of Crantock is home to an excellent village shop, two great pubs serving fantastic food and a superb beach, with clean sands and good surf. There are some fabulous walks around the village, estuary and along the headland. Much of the surrounding area is also owned by the National Trust. Only accessed by foot is also the stunning Porth Joke Beach (known by locals as Polly Joke), a small cove nestled between Holywell and Crantock and well worth the trek! The larger and more popular coastal resort of Newquay is only a short drive away, where there is a greater selection of bars, restaurants, shops and attractions, and of course its renowned surf at Fistral Beach.
